Return your box in the prepaid Auspost courier satchel which is tracked door to door on its delivery to our studio

THE MAGIC HAPPENS

We then scan your precious photos into high resolution digital images, retaining the order and folder names that you provide.

SCANS ARE DONE

We return your prints via tracked Auspost Courier Satchel & a USB thumb-drive of your scans which we have (optionally) uploaded to Dropbox for you

Manual Scanning

For scanning projects of less than 500 photos, fragile ripped, polaroid and/or individual photos you will need to complete the following:

Fill out the order form and email it to Luna Pix so we can provide you with a quote.
Arrange your photos by size into bundles of 20 and place them into a resealable bag.
Place a note (not a sticky note) inside the bag with a description of what you would like used for the folder & file names.
Send your prints to Luna Pix using an Auspost courier satchel which is tracked door to door on its delivery to our studio.
Luna Pix will check and confirm your order with you before starting the project
Prints will be scanned in JPG format at a 600dpi resolution (unless instructed otherwise)
Images are then saved to your selected storage device, be it USB stick, Hard Drive, or cloud storage.
Luna Pix will return your photos and USB thumb-drive/HDD Drive with the scanned images via tracked Auspost Courier Satchel.
We then undertake any other additional service you have requested like restoration, photo editing and/or slideshow.

NOTE:

The best way to pack fragile, ripped or individual photos is to:

Check with your local Post Office for suitable packaging, e.g. rigid mailer.
Protect the front and back of the item with thick cardboard, and then place it in reinforced packaging such as a padded bag
Close with heavy-duty packing tape and address correctly and add the following label

How it Works

All you need to do is upload a digital version of your photo(s), so we can give you a free quote.

Luna Pix Quote - Restore/Edit

Email a copy of your photo(s) to us scanned at 600dpi and in

full-colour (yes even the black & whites) and in JPG format.

Include specific instructions on the level of restoration required. Basic, Standard, or Advanced.

In the case of Remove Unwanted Objects detail what object you wish removed.

Luna Pix Quote - Scan & Restore/Edit

Send your photo(s) to be scanned at 600dpi and in full-colour (yes even the black & whites) and in JPG format.

Include specific instructions on the level of restoration required. Basic, Standard, or Advanced.

In the case of Remove Unwanted Objects detail what object you wish removed.

Restoration/Editing

We get to work on your photo.

The process takes 5-7 days.

Depending on the complexity of the restoration

Proofing

We send you a watermarked preview by email for your approval and to make any change requests, to get it just right.

Approval

Upon receipt of your approval, we will forward you an invoice that is payable within 14 days.

Your photo's and our work will remain with us until payment has been received.

Digital file / prints

On receipt of the payment, we send the high-resolution, un-watermarked version as a digital file, via email and/or iCloud, and return all your photos and USB via Austpost within seven business days.

Your digital images will also be saved on our Dropbox Drive for 30 days.

Optional Extra

Luna Pix can also arrange to have the modified image printed as a photo, printed to canvas for the wall or

affixed to a t-shirt, mug, or similar item so you can display them to the world.
